In between, I also started receiving some wired comments, both from anonymous readers and from my friends. While I remain happy with the most of the comments I received, there were few anonymous readers who labeled me as “JYT scoundrel”. One reader feels that my article was a “lobe-sided soliloquy”. The other one feels that I lack deeper knowledge of politics. They may be right in raising their opinions. It’s their democratic right and I respect that.
However on my part, I am neither a supporter of JYT nor anti PDP. I am just another common man, who sometimes likes to dream about uncommon things in life. In the words of Mr. Wangcha Sangey “I am …happy Bhutanese who is most grateful to this Kingdom, this Sovereign Kingdom which provided everything for the sustenance of past ancestors, the happiness of the present generation and the hope of the future” In essence, I am yet another son of the soil and that I find no reason to side any individual or a party.
As a concerned Bhutanese citizen, I had my own differences with JYT led government. But that doesn’t make him any lesser leader. JYT and his team, led by our beloved Fourth Druk Gyalpo has brought us thus far and I think even our current PM will acknowledge the same.
So the reason I wrote my previous article is purely out of my respect and gratitude to our former Prime Minister. More than that, it’s out of my deepest care and concern for our beloved Tsa-wa-sum. Therefore I have my own respect for Jigme Y. Thinley and Tshering Tobgay equally.
I will write more about why I have my respect for Lyonchoen Tshering Tobgay soon.
