Wonderlust Rates Paro Airport

Recently, one hour delay in flight gave me an opportunity to come across an angry foreigner. Like me, I thought he was angry with the kind of the tea, coffee and snacks that are available in restaurants and tea shops in airport. But I was wrong. He was furious firstly for not being able to fly on time. Secondly, he was more enraged with the way facilities are managed in the airport.

True to his words I sighted how simple amenities, (such as the ones I have displayed below) are left unattended. Surely, those problems  transcends a cup of tea and coffee! I wonder how we managed to come second in Wonderlust rating. Please shed your thoughts too.

"Enjoy our Free Wi-Fi internet" says the sign board,
but powerless modems and cables are all scattered.

And then there is a wall clock on the pillar that never ticks. Its forever 15 min to 8.
On many occasion passengers say they are confused.
Is it due to austerity measures in place or is it a sheer negligence

There is a TV stand there. But when is the TV set coming?
or has previous one disappeared already?

This in the Departure section,
but there is a signboard on Import regulation
of infamous product, Tobacco.

Once upon a time, there was one TV set here.
God knows where it disappeared now.

This is in the arrival section, right behind the Immigration counters.
Probably, these are the first things
any visitor is going to see about Bhutan
 in the terminal building.
Can't we have a better message other than those Johnnie walker
advertisement below our beloved Kings?
